Hi, my real name is Spirin Leonid, but my friends in games usually call me Ro (short for Roark, which has been my ingame name for over 10 years). I'm 27, live in Israel since I was 12, but I'm originally from Russia.
My interests lie mainly in movies, occasional animes, games, animals, fantasy. Prior to Wildstar I played Lineage 2 for a few years and WoW for a couple more. Have been looking for a game to reignite my passion for online adventures for a long time and I'm very happy I happened to stumble upon Wildstar. I believe strongly in the wildstar project and plan on gaming 4-6 hours almost every night and a lot more on the weekends. Since I'm not much for high end PvE and PvP content, I'd rather be in a more casual guild (I can always join an outside group for raiding or RBGs - if I'll want). Mostly looking for people to socialize my gaming experience - since playing in silence is getting really tiresome. I work for a living and my gaming hours are going to be 18-23 CET on weekdays.
The only thing that's a deal breaker on my part - if you aren't planning to be on a PvP server. For me open world PvP is an essential part and attraction in game (spicing up the dull creep farm) and I won't settle for a PvE server after launch.
So, I hope to hear from you. Thank you.

Welcome Spirin.

I'm sure Corwen, the WildStar Guild Leader will chime in here soon to confirm, but as far as I'm aware our Guild (W.E.I.R.D.) will be on a PvP-RP server.

Corwen, will fill you in on the details etc and if you need any info, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks! Spirin is actually my family name. You can call me Ro, though.

Hey Ro. 4-6 hours a night! Damn! I vaguely remember having time like that. I might see you on WS for an hour or two a few times a week. Welcome.

Howdy doodly do and welcome, Ro!

Sorry for the delay, your application caught me mid-eating. We sure are going to roll on an EU RP-PvP server so there's no need to worry about that. We've currently got the guild set up on the Nexus server in the beta (alas, no PvP servers during CBT) and I'm planning of making it on Pergo during the next weekend beta I get to play on (going to be away in Germany during the next week's one), unless there's an RP-PvP server up by then, in which case I'll make one on it.

Open world PvP is one of the things I'm looking forward to in this game myself, having enjoyed PvP in BGs for the first time in a long while in MMOs. I'm well aware that it'll mean lots of deaths but with a graveyard like the one in WS, resurrecting at one'll be entertaining.

I'll send the TS3 details over to you momentarily. Feel free to join our WEIRD bunch during the weekend betas or while playing something else whilst WS is unavailable.

Personally I played BGs only once since the beta weekends started - found it rather hard with 230 ms ping. After I've cleared Galeras (quest wise) - I moved to Algaroc ('cause I lvled in Celestion). A funny thing - since Algaroc is designed for pre lvl 15 players (who can't have mounts) nearly each and every mountain there is scalable on a mount.

I'll check out the TS channel for sure. Need to get myself a headset (got only headphones), but for now my built in mic will do.

Thanks everyone for your wellcomes - you are all very nice (or very bored ).

P.S. Any advice on a good way to farm bone?

That's a very good question, an answer to which I doubt any of us know , even after hours of grinding various mobs.

Actually, there is a way I didn't know of and somebody on the official forum told me of. You can actually craft apprentice items that DON'T require bone and salvage them with a chance to get bone. I haven't tried it, but I might as well, since from all the animal grinding I've got something like 180 thick leather.
So here's a pretty cool idea (if it works) - at least the best I've heard.
