Greetings, my name is Firlonn (well its Rob really) I found you guys on the Wildstar forum and that's why i am here, i wish to find a WildStar guild but i also found you play alot of other games aswell. i loved the post on WildStar Central and have read a few others dotted around here and would love to become a part of the fun...

I guess i have to say abit about me now huh? always hate doing this ... but I love games, i play them daily (at the moment its mainly Planetside 2, Minecraft and Borderlands 2) but i play all kinds of games and have done for the vast majority of my life. I am 33 years old and have a wife and baby Daughter (just "dinged" 1 year old) i am a full time dad, so can play while she sleeps and when wife is at home (every night pretty much). i have very poor eye sight but nothing a large monitor cant fix, but reading often can be difficult and i do tend to miss chat in games alot. I am far from a pro but i aim to have fun in what ever game i play, fun = everything to me and from what i have read, i feel i may fit in here, even if i am alittle on the shy side and find it difficult to interact with peeps...

I use Raptr and have Steam.. if ya need any more info just let me know

No worries about not being a pro, none of us are (not even those who think they are). I know from personal experience how shyness can make it "slightly" more difficult to start conversing with a bunch of complete strangers but it should become easier over time .

I do have Preorder for wildstar, however, i have to attend a birthday party for my wife's grandmother this weekend, so i cant take part in the beta ... but i have informed her that after this weekend all other beta's are belong to meeee!

Welcome to the fun! My situation's pretty much the same as yours - with a wife and child taking up my daytime but late evening is my time for gaming.

Whilst you're waiting for Wildstar if you happen to be an NC on Miller in Planetside 2 then drop me a friend request and I'll try to hook up with you sometime soon (since I'm on most nights). If you're not already settled in an outfit then I'm sure we can sort an invite to the Smurf Assault Squad too.

On the other hand, if your character is on a different server or (heaven forbid) you're playing Vanu or TR then you can always roll up a NC Miller alt to redeem yourself

p.s. Legend has it we also have a Vanu outfit on Woodman, but I have yet to witness this...

Wait, a 33 y/o Dad with a 1 year old... That would sound familiar except I've got a 2 y/o, too (well, they're about to ding 2 and 3).

And PS2? It's time to roll yourself a NC Miller character!

@Hammerfist PS2, I mainly played Vanu on Woodman, hope thats more acceptable ... ..Not played on Miller, but I do free char slot. ...I'm not in a squad/outfit as i spend most my time getting run over by "friendlies" (normally play engineer support), would love to play with you guys aslong as you are aware i suck lol

@Lavium, if wife had her way we would have many more on the way ... but Lowri is my first child ive had to be completely responsible for, isnt easy! hehe so more on hold for now xD

Yeah, no need to worry about not being the best at PS2 . In the worst-case scenario you'll just be giving some extra XP to Combat Medics, and as one of the said 'Dics (though lately inactive)... I appreciate it.

isnt so much, worry, as i am just letting you know what you're in for lol, i have alot of fun in it and sometimes just randomly charge blindly at their lines for giggles ... my k/d and score mean nothing to me xD
