Been playing video games since I was about 5 years old, at that time my family barely had a computer and it still used floppy disks. Grew up on NES and progressed to more advanced systems and computers. I played WoW for 5 years, little bit of EVE online, pretty decent pilot in BF3 until my joystick broke. Father was a pilot in the military and flew some planes when he got out, so I like to think flying is in my blood. I'm attending school for engineering in the hopes that I will be able to build rockets. Space and science has always been a main interest to me, so when I heard about this game I had to jump on it. I'll be piloting the 300i and the 325a. I like to see myself as a security expert, for my current profession while in school is private security for a high profile client and believe I would be very useful for protecting carrier ships, secret missions, and helping to organize security forces we would need.

Thanks for your time!

Hi Buzz,
Thanks for coming to XSGamers, the home of The Corp for Star Citizen.

First thing I need to mention is that we're predominantly a UK/EU guild with most members dotted all over the place. I see you're from California (lucky devil) which would put you approx 6 or 7 hours behind GMT?
The reason I mention it is that our game time will probably be way out of sync as most evenings we will be logging off by the time you start playing?
Having said that we have an ex-pat in Australia who's just joined us so were looking to see how it works when we try to organise some game time at launch as we don't want to exclude anyone as we like everyone to get to know each other.

There's plenty of time to decide if you still wish to apply to The Corp but I thought it prudent to give you fair warning that most players would be 6-9 hours ahead of you all the time.

If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to ask or PM me.

Yeah I don't mind playing when you guys are offline. If we expand to other timezones it could be a 24hour operation. Just call me the night manager!

Welcome aboard Luke!

The more time zones we cover, the better protected The Corp assets will be, in my opinion!

The 'hibernation module' gained at $14M lessens the need for people to safeguard our personal ships, but any future assets which players can buy (orbiting stations and so on) will all need looking after.

Got any friends who'd be up for some UK/EU headquartered SC fun?
