There's a few of us playing this, quite frankly addictive city building game that I thought a thread about it was the least we could have.

Discuss people!

SimShitty by EA has nothing on this game and at around £15 it's a steal!

GMG has it for £16.78

http://www.greenmangaming ... .com/vip/

The £15 offer was on CDKeys, £14.69 now

http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/ ... s-skylines-pc-cd-key

(I've used CDKeys before and they are great, even refunded GTAV when I ordered it cheaper elsewhere within 15 mins)

Also, if you "Like" CDKeys Facebook page you get a 5% off discount code you can use. (And you can use it again and again if you "unlike", then "relike" the page each time you want to purchase something )

God damn it, I was hoping to not buy this as I have lots of games to play. The CDKeys deal was to good to pass up though.

Will add to my list of games to play, thanks Gaz

I'm loving this game also, is a huge amount of fun. Loving making interconnected highway systems and trying not to get gridlocked

Anyone else running Mods yet? I'm still playing vanilla but there seems to be some great mods out there that enhance the game.... like the auto-save mod

I've restarted 4 times due to traffic issues later in the game. Starting small and not expanding too quickly seems to help, as well as one-way roads keeping traffic flowing.

Don't forget the mod that re-enables achievements when you use mods!

I'm mainly running a few mods that add in more pre-made highway exits/junctions and one to help colour coding transit routes.

Here's my city, which currently is the only one out of 5 attempts that has worked ok with traffic.
Nearly 10k and a decent amount of money by growing slowly and keeping utility costs under control.

If you open the images to full size they are 2560 x 1440 res

My others are not so nice.

One tip for everyone in case you didn't know is you can save a fair amount of cash by throttling your water/sewage and Electricity.

If you're outputting 50Mw of power from your power stations, Wind Turbines etc, but your city only needs 25, then knock their budgets down. It will save you a good wad of cash. Same for the other Utilities in the Economy tab.

Also, keep on top of your RCI demands (Residential, Commercial, Industrial) but only expand a little a time. Don't Zone 100 blocks at a time, just do a small amount and see how the demand reacts.
